Max’s constant pursuit of excellence paved the way for those who followed in his footsteps and also allowed the status and heritage of Penfolds to grow. Max’s Shiraz displays the Penfolds ‘stamp’ inspired by Max Schubert.
Wine Tasting Notes
Dark red. Red fruits with mixed spice; cinnamon and nutmeg, Christmas spice. Cooler fruit spectrum with pepper and roasted capsicum. Red berry, blueberry, with summer pudding and cherry. Oak in the background adds layers of flavor and texture, encased with fine powdery tannins.
