Distilerías Bonet S.A. is a Spanish company that has been around since 1862. While the company started out making all types of liqueurs, but the clear favourite of consumers was their Gran Licor Bonet, also known as Estomacal Bonet. Over time, the company began to focus less on liqueurs and more on wines, but their great, prize-winning liqueur remains in production to date, for obvious reasons. Estomacal Bonet was invented by the founder of Distilerías Bonet, Domingo Bonet. He was the one to create the herb-based secret formula that remains so successful. The recipe is a closely kept secret, but we do know that this artisan liqueur is made using copper stills to infuse the specially selected flowers, fruits, and herbs before it is aged in American oak for about one year. This spirit is perfect to enjoy on its own, neat or over ice. It is also a great idea to accompany celebrations, including New Years. As the name suggests, this is a liqueur meant for the stomach. To that end, it is best enjoyed after a meal, to help aid the stomach in its work. The unmistakable flavour of this historic product is sure to enchant your taste buds and please your stomach.

Nose: A variety of herbal botanicals are added to this drink, which gives it a distinct smell. There is a mix of fruity and floral notes, as well as additional sweetness provided by sugar.
