Already a multi-award-winning gin, Citadelle Jardin d’Ete is fresh and original creation is inspired by the garden of Château de Bonbonnet. Tucked away in a corner of the park behind the château, you’ll find Debbie’s garden, filled with fragrant flowers, fruits and herbs. That’s all it took to get the ball rolling and find the perfect balance for this edible garden. Think of it as a deliciously fragrant postcard of Southwestern France.
Citadelle Jardin d’Ete Gin Tasting Notes
Nose: Fresh & intense, it opens with notes of juniper and citrus fruits, complemented by flowers and fennel with the soft spices and licorice.
Palate: Very delicate with a beautiful freshness, it follows the floral profile of the nose but on a spicier and fruitier expression with tangerine, melon & cubeb. It evolves with notes of angelica, nutmeg, orris root & star anise.
Finish: Very long, floral & fruity, on citrus fruits, almonds, cumin, savory & grains of paradise.
