Davna Bizon is made to a traditional recipe in Poland. The grass is harvested in the summer from the Bialowieza forest, spread out and gently heated, whilst having alcohol poured over it. The resulting extract is then blended with Polish grain vodka to give a spicy and sweet flavoured vodka.

This vodka is made to a traditional Polish recipe using Hierochloe Odorata grass from Europe’s only remaining primeval forest – this grass is better known as bison grass due to the fact that bison used to roam in the forest where it was picked – that’s pretty cool.

Nose: Almonds, chamomile and herbs.

Palate: Creamy and nutty with a herbaceous tinge.

Finish: Soft with a little jasmine.
