Nose: Full-bodied aroma.
Palate: The initial rush of peat and wood smoke is followed by a gentle sweetness with hints of spice.
Finish: Light and elegant as it ends, the last hint of smoke slowly fading out.
Distillery Information
The Carsebridge distillery was built the following year as a malt distillery, and ran under family ownership until it became part of DCL upon the latter’s formation in 1877.
