This unique bourbon features a combination of two bourbon mashbills – one wheated, one ryed – and is finished for six months in napa valley cabernet sauvignon barrels. it was part of the re-launch of daviess county bourbons by lux row distillers in february 22. the base blend of wheated and ryed mashbills and 6-month finishing really works well, softening and sweetening the bourbon and yielding a rich, velvety mouthfeel
