Representing Wolves’ second Single Malt expression, this whiskey is sourced from 10 meticulously selected barrels distilled back in 2012 and aged for a remarkable 11 years. The unique fermentation process embraces imported Irish malts and a native Californian yeast, promising an exceptional taste profile. With distillation in a traditional copper alembic pot and aging in new American oak barrels, varying from Light Toast to Char 3, this whiskey guarantees richness. Each bottle, a work of art, is hand-wrapped in a UV-printed black sheepskin, right in Los Angeles. This limited release comprises a 9-barrel blend bottled at a potent 110 proof, reserving one special barrel for a distinguished single barrel release.
Nose – toasted oats, dried fruit, vanilla, black pepper, oak.
Palate – tobacco, caramel, stone fruit, honey, oats.
Finish – long finish, sweet upfront with drying effect on palate. Creeping salinity.
